Forgive me if this is the wrong place to post this, I just wasn't exactly sure where something like this could go. Last night a friend of mine showed me an article that stated this....
If you haven’t heard, EA just fired most of The Sims team and silently killed the franchise (what was left after the closure of The Sims Studio at least) and moved the remaining team to the mobile division. This means that there probably won’t really be anymore Sims games for PC or Console other than maybe a few stuff/expansions for TS4. (and I have a strong impression that The Sims Mobile won’t last very long either.)
It seems like they’re trying to pass off what’s happening as just some layoffs for budget reasons and down play what’s happening.
Has anyone heard anything about this and is there truth to this at all? If it's true will we still be able to play Sims4???
