This is one of the biggest reasons that I'm less than pleased with the recent supernaturals vote. Not only do I feel that it wasn't entirely fair (for reasons explained here), but also because the one life state that I know that MANY people were asking wasn't even included in the poll options. I'm talking, of course, about werewolves. Why weren't they included? The way I see it, there are two possibilities:
* The Sims Team has no intention of ever implementing werewolves.
* The Sims Team knows for a fact that they want to implement werewolves someday and knew that they would probably have dominated the poll anyways, likely being beaten out or seconded only by witches.
Now, if the second possibility were true, I could probably understand. If it's the first one, though, I'll be incredibly disappointed. Lots of great ideas were brainstormed on in this old thread of mine. I think, like vampires, werewolves have a chance to be great in TS4. And come on, I feel that they're kind of teased a bit. There's this statue that I'm certain is supposed to be a werewolf, and I believe you can hear howling in Forgotten Hollow.
And if they weren't included in the poll for other reasons, or if it was just an oversight, then I really do think that the poll was kind of unfair. Something tells me that werewolves would have easily beaten out mermaids, especially if people knew that the oceans weren't going to be opened up.
