I have got to admit, this drought of no info is getting a bit annoying it's almost the middle of Feb. and we haven't heard ANYTHING of future content...I thought for sure they would have at least announced something that was upcoming by now. Sorry if I sound impatient or rude, but my fun I had with Get Famous has grown dry and now I hardly don't play (ONCE again for the 1000th time with this game) , but I am now I am now rely on mods and CC to spice up my game (big major thank you to modders for creating amazing content)...and honesty..that's just kinda sad.

Could Preteens be Next!!!
I was just thinking about how nice toddlers are to have back in ts4 today and I thought maybe they weren't the only life stage they were working on. Then I thought to myself how empty the transition from child to teen is. It would just make tons more sense if we had the preteen life stage. I mean kids don't just go from 4th or 5th grade to high school. And yes I get not everyone has gone to middle school, but in this case it would make more sense. idk though, just my opinion. Should future Occults be in dedicated Game Packs (like Vampires)?
Personally, i'm a fan of seeing occults in dedicated Game Packs because i believe that leaves EAxis no excuses to make them half-baked and they will be as fleshed out as Vampires. (also more profit!) But the thing is, with only 3 years of content left for TS4 (yeah i know SimGurus say AT LEAST 3 years but more than that seems unlikely), i doubt if EAxis will have time to both make dedicated Game Packs for occults and make other content simmers are constantly asking for (more hobbies, more stuff for life stages, Tropical vacation Pack, better weddings, University etc). So i'm leaning towards a Supernatural EP that includes my favorite occults (Werewolves, Fairies, Witches, maybe Genies?).
So what do you think? Do you want dedicated game packs for future occults or prefer a Supernatural EP?

Hint to University?
Alright. Just hear me out. There is a thread, where someone pointed out the numerous spelling errors in the notifications that came with Get Famous. That got me thinking. The Gurus aren't stupid. They also probably double check their spelling before releasing a huge pack. Sooo.... What if this is a hint towards some sort of school pack, hinting towards the fact that their notification sims need to "Get Educated", or something. What do you think?

You know what would be crazy? If we got another EXPANSION after Get Famous and Seasons.
They did say they changed up their production. Maybe they now once again have 2 EP production teams like during the Sims 3 era to simultaneously develop EPs.
Meaning that the team that developed Seasons is about to finish another EP, while the other team just released Get Famous.
Besides that we got these dubious voice actor recordings for future content...

Sims 5 - All careers + school/highschool should be ACTIVE (opinion)
This is what would help make the case for the fifth iteration of this franchise for me. No more rabbit holes/chance cards. If I choose to follow my sim to school that day I want to be there and I want new, unexpected stuff to happen there. Maybe a classmate picks a fight with them or another classmate embarrasses them in front of class. Maybe there's a class field trip that day. If I choose to follow them to work, same drill. I think every career could be made into an active one *including teen careers like lawn mowing, babysitting, etc.). If each new iteration of the game is supposed to break new ground I want it to do this then. I don't want my sims disappearing off screen anymore. Anyone agree?

The devs could well be working on it and might have been for some time.
The job advertisement might for for TS5.
It might have Sims with at least hair and eyes. Hopfully it will have a lot more than that!
It might actually have cars?
Could this very vague car hint also be a hint for open world?
If we are getting it then it is not likely to be before 2021.

At some point in time I was excited for Witches to be introduced to the game, not anymore. I know there are simmers who are estatic for witches etc.

Alright, this maybe a crazy sleep deprived thought, but bear with me. Sims can joke about politicians; there was a political career added. Sims can joke about fashion; there's a fashion career added. Sims can joke about engineers.. Sims can joke about.. penguins(??) Ok that last one was a joke of my own, but y'all see where I'm going with this. Huh? ![:wink:]( ":wink:")

Alien Apocalypse- Nope not aliens
The next GP seems like an “alien” apocalypse, possibly only contained to one neighborhood (Strangetown), and seems to make sims fall under a sort of hypnotism or hive mind.
Update- apparently it’s been confirmed it’s not aliens... so some type of hive mind? Maybe a villain for sims to face? A giant flying pig? I give up![:neutral:]( ":neutral:")

-Military??

Strangetown Syndrome?
I've seen a lot of speculation on what the weird affliction is that seems to have infected the gurus. Is it aliens? Witches? Zombie apocalypse? A cult? One thing i've only seen mentioned one other time was a post with an interesting newspaper article from the sims 3 that talks about a plane that was forced to land back in Strangetown due to two passengers showing early signs of something called Strangetown syndrome. If we are right about the next pack being set in Strangetown or having something to do with it, then I think this is our answer. I think all the weirdness is being caused by said Strangetown syndrome and not a new occult at all. What are your thoughts on this?

Strangetown as a destination world
Considering this is a Game Pack and most of them (except Vampires) came with a destination pack, I think that this Strangetownish world will be a destination world that Sims in the military and scientist field can travel to, to investigate and eventually save the residents that are under mind control there. Thats the only way I can see this theme working without impacting the other worlds in game.
